fever down

Football world cup might have been over two days ago, but has certainly left some effect on everyone's mind. Generally, Indians are not great followers of football, nonetheless everyone keeps commenting on it for days to follow. The football fever had some effect on me too. I watched almost all matches featuring Brazil, Argentina, England, France and Germany (I guess you got an inkling by now as to why none of these won the world cup!!). My bet was on Brazil. What might be the turning points of the cup? In my opinion there were three:
1. The penalty shoot out of Totti against Australia in the penultimate 15secs resulting in existance of Italy in QFs.
2. Zidane's beautiful pass which resulted in the oust of Brazil and 'grandpa' Carlos seemed enjoying it.
3. Zidane's Red Card...(Oops!!! disgusting!)
To me, Italy was very lucky to get a smooth road to the finals(except against Germany in Semis). Yesterday i read an article in which the Coach of Italy says,"Finally we have made it to the World Cup" when Italy passed the qualifiers.
I am not satisfied with the outcome of the worldcup. I dont know how many of you are, but one person in India is in jubilient mood for sure - Sonia Gandhi'ji'.
