We didnt plan too much and it was a success. yes, we went to Tirupati last weekend. It was really memorable. We also went to a small water falls nearby-Talakona. It was a 2 days trip. 11th and 12th of June. We were 8 in all. Preetam, Raghu, Papu, Uday, Sam, Shiva, Gowda and Me.
I reached tirupati from hyderabad by bus(11Hrs!!). others came from b'lore. My bus was late, so the rest planned to climb tirumala on foot. i joined them at tirumala travelling by bus. There we came to know that there was no way we could get darshan in next 2 days. It was a weekend and the huge crowd of piligrims was expected. It was with the help of my brother, we could arrange for a darshan the next day. so we planned to get down to Tirupati and visit a water-falls nearby - Talakona. The place was wonderful. we also saw 2 wild Elephants on our way. That night we took rest in a lodge and went to Tirumala the next morning. We went to temple at 12noon and came out by 3.30pm. and from there we came to tirupati and back to our places.
I am really thankful to my brother Dr. Pavan for his help, which has made our trip a success.
